Ever wondered what those barcode numbers on products mean? The first 2-3 digits, called the GS1 prefix, show where the barcode was registered. It isn't necessarily where the product was made. For example, a barcode with 690-699 means the barcode was issued in China, while 00-13 is for the USA and Canada. Other prefixes include 30-37 for France, 40-44 for Germany, 49 for Japan, 50 for the UK, and 93 for Australia. The barcode is about what country registered the barcode, not the manufacturing location!

Good to know for when they start barcoding humans.
ReplyDeleteRight!!
DeleteLynn why are you encouraging your readers to mine pi network when it has been established that they are rug pulling?
ReplyDeleteI absolutely understand your question. I was skeptical too. In fact, the whole premise of crypto is still odd to me. I only promote it b/c it is free, takes little effort, there is some value to the Pi and it allows people to play around with the whole crypto thing and learn. There really is zero risk so why not get a little money in the process?
