Look at Diet BEFORE Drugs

Before the advent of insulin and diabetic medications, the focus was on diet as a primary approach to managing diabetes. Historical evidence suggests that a balanced diet, free from excessive sugars and processed foods, was once considered a key strategy. This approach deserves looking at again, as it addresses the root causes rather than just masking symptoms with medication.

I’ve personally witnessed the power of dietary changes in helping people reduce or even eliminate their reliance on diabetic meds. By guiding individuals to eat nutrient dense foods and reading food labels, I’ve seen remarkable improvements. The real culprits are sugar, corn syrups and refined carbs.  All of which can be avoided with mindful eating habits.
This shift back to thinking about diet could empower many to take control of their health. While medications have their place, prioritizing nutrition offers a sustainable path forward, potentially reducing the need for lifelong drug dependency (and their long-term side effects).
Much Love, Lynn
