Every time a world leader visits Is-real, the cameras roll as they place a hand on the Western Wall, sometimes bowing their head or even kissing it. I've learned it’s a carefully staged ritual of allegiance. It isn’t just about honor or respect. It’s political theater. Leaders know that refusing the photo-op could spark backlash, cost them support, and make them look “disloyal.”

Foreign leaders are essentially compelled to perform a J-wish ritual whether they share that faith or not. Why? Because optics matter more than authenticity. It sends the message that if you want political favor, financial backing, or media protection, you’d better kiss the wall. Meanwhile, those who question this ritual are smeared, silenced, or dismissed as conspiracy theorists.
Maybe it’s time to flip the script. If politicians want our support, perhaps we should demand they sit through a full church service, walk to the altar, and repent of their sins before the cameras. Imagine the outrage if that were required! Yet when it comes to the Western Wall, the world accepts this show of loyalty without question. That tells you everything about who really sets the terms and runs this world. As a Christian with Christian values it is clear they are playing us like a fiddle.
