Fast Isn't Always Better

Some things in life are like a fire that’s turned up too high.  We push, we demand, we want it done now because waiting feels unbearable. The result can be relationships that fracture under pressure, projects that collapse from shortcuts, dreams that turn to ash because we couldn’t stand the discomfort of the slow simmer. Yet the same approach given gentle heat and patient hours, transform into something golden, tender, and deeply satisfying. We need the willingness to trust time, to let the quiet work happen beneath the surface. It’s okay to move deliberately, to season carefully, to let things rest. Slow doesn’t always mean lazy.  It means you value the masterpiece more than the applause for finishing first.
