
We become our habits. Families share environments, routines, and behaviors far more than just DNA. Kids watch parents eat processed foods, snack constantly, eat fast food and drink soda. Those patterns get repeated generation after generation. What looks like a "family curse" is often a cycle of learned habits of poor diet, sedentary living, overeating, and stress responses passed down through modeling, not chromosomes.
You aren't genetically doomed or "predisposed" in the way most people think. You're habitually on the same path because that's the one paved by those around you. The good news is that habits can be broken. Lifestyle choices, what you eat and how active you are have massive power to override so-called familial risks.
Break the cycle by eating real food, staying active, getting proper sleep and finding a way to manage stress. Your future health doesn't have to repeat the past. You have the control.
