Interesting fact that led me to do some research. You may find this interesting too.
The Star of David (that six-pointed star shape) is not in the Bible. It’s a symbol that became popular in J-wish faith much later (hundreds of years after the Bible was written). The Bible never says anything about using it as a special sign for King David or for Is-real.
“Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Remphan, figures which ye made to worship them: and I will carry you away beyond Babylon.”
So what does that mean in plain English? This verse is Stephen reminding the people that their ancestors in the Old Testament turned away from God and started worshiping fake gods instead. One of those fake gods was called Remphan.
That “star” was part of pagan idol worship which was something God was angry about. It has nothing to do with the Star of David or anything J-wish or holy. The Bible is actually condemning that star, not praising it. The Bible never mentions, shows, or approves of the six-pointed Star of David we know today. It’s a later symbol, not a biblical one.
As always, do your research. Many things are not what they seem. Christians, the Easter Bunny and Christmas Tree aren't what you think they are either, but I will touch on that in an upcoming post.
Hope you enjoyed that quick bible lesson for today.
Much Love, Lynn
