Fear is one of the most potent tools for keeping populations glued to their feeds. It works wonders turning everyday life into a non-stop cycle of alerts, updates and "experts" telling us how to feel. Now we're getting the sequel to the Beer Bug with the Beer Bug 2.0.
Here's the thing though. The joke's on them. From what I'm seeing, many people aren't biting this time around. We've been through the drill with lockdowns, shortages and endless fear loops. Public trust in these panic cycles has eroded, and for good reason.
That said, expect the usual opportunists to cash in with price gouging. Nothing like a fresh health scare to justify jacking up costs while everyone scrambles. It's predictable at this point. Stay aware, but don't let the noise dictate your life. These distractions come and go timed perfectly to pull attention away from bigger issues.
