Hijacking English Language to Spell Cast Negativity

Pay attention to how many times we hear things like “I’m dead,” “I’m broke,” “I’m dying of hunger,” “This is killing me” or “I’m so screwed.” We treat these phrases as normal conversation, but they aren’t just harmless phrases. They’ve been normalized into everyday speech, quietly programming defeat, scarcity and exhaustion into our minds.

Words are spells (and why memorizing how to write them is called "spelling.") Every time we speak we’re planting seeds. Speak lack and you’ll feel lack. Speak struggle and you’ll stay stuck. Your subconscious doesn’t do sarcasm.  It believes what you repeatedly tell it. We need to wake up and reclaim our language. Stop feeding the negativity and start speaking with intention.

Much Love, Lynn
