Media Scare Cycle

Headlines are buzzing about a new virus. A handful of passengers fell ill with hantavirus, prompting monitoring efforts across several countries. While terrible for those impacted, the situation is under control.  No worries though as they have Ebola on the backburner to keep the news cycle fresh with fear. 

Keep perspective on all these "outbreaks."  They are nothing more than another distraction. The media cycle loves a new scare, especially one involving travel and exotic-sounding viruses. It pulls eyes away from bigger issues we actually care about like this Iran conflict and the Epstein list (we are still waiting on justice and arrests!).   

This summer choose presence over panic. Get outside, soak up the warmth and enjoy the season. Plant a garden, nurture something tangible and invest your energy in what truly matters. Life moves fast enough without manufactured drama from every headline.
