Artificial Time

Every fall we go through the same cycle of turning back clocks.  At one time we were sold this as a practical necessity so farmers could have more daylight to work fields, but it has evolved into another layer of the agenda to keep us permanently off-kilter.  What daylight is it saving?  Daylight hours are daylight hours regardless of how you shift a clock.

Circadian rhythms get scrambled, the animals natural schedules get thrown into chaos and we all get those early dark evenings that are depressing and blah.

It’s not efficiency. It’s a reliable way to keep bodies constantly adjusting to artificial time.

What are your thoughts?

Much Love, Lynn
