Queue the Next Virus

I have a hypothesis. The perfect environment for a virus to thrive is not a throat, door knobs or unwashed hands. It is an election year especially when a distraction is needed in the news cycle. 

An election year does not invent a virus as the flu and colds will always occur. It just gives it better attention and fancy names when the fear meter needs some calibrating.
