Have you heard about the deception behind sun screen? Let's dive in!
The idea that sunscreen might contribute to cancer rather than prevent it is quite plausible. Sunscreens often contain compounds like oxybenzone, avobenzone, or octinoxate, which absorb UV rays but also penetrate the skin and enter the bloodstream. They have also been shown to act as endocrine disruptors (I'm somehow guessing that isn't listed on the bottle).
Blocking UVB rays also reduces vitamin D production, which plays a role in cancer prevention as well. Meanwhile, skin cancer rates have risen despite widespread sunscreen use so should we be relying on chemical sunscreens rather than physical barriers like zinc oxide or seeking shade and wearing clothes/hats that cover exposed skin? [Or better yet, enjoy the sun and soak in the vitamin D.]

A total scam. Common sense dictates that if they didn't have it thousands of years ago, it's not necessary today. For people who are pale, an online friend of mine told me a tip he learned when he was younger: eat fresh fruit before going outside and you will not burn. He is quite pale and has never burned even in the blazing sun. Another tip is to get enough magnesium that is necessary to produce vitamin D from the sun.
