A Suspicious Glance at the Iran-Israel Clash

As of Tuesday, June 17, 2025, the Middle East has been simmering with tension, and I sense there’s more than meets the eye in the Iran-Israel showdown. Reports claim Iran is being halted from uranium enrichment, with Israel stepping up as the self-appointed enforcer. The narrative suggests Israel’s aiming to neuter Iran’s nuclear ambitions, but I sense this is less about global security and more about flexing geopolitical muscle. Trump’s talk of a “real end” to the conflict hints at a deeper game.  

Could this be a ploy to drag the U.S. into yet another quagmire, especially since the Ukraine booby trap didn’t quite stick? The answer is YES! U.S. military assets are repositioning, which fuels my hunch that someone’s itching to stoke a full-blown war.

Digging deeper, I see a pattern that’s downright suspect. Israel’s bold moves look tough on paper, but their reliance on U.S. support (and now Trump’s ambiguous stance) suggests they might not win this solo. The idea that they’d charge into Iran without a robust plan or a pre-existing alliance feels off. But maybe they did it under the confidence in the alliance with the U.S. that is assumed and no one dares challenge, for reasons we ALL know but rarely say aloud. This could be a distraction to divert attention from some other global chess move. Call me cynical but it’s hard not to wonder if this is less about justice and more about a staged drama where the real script is hidden. If Israel wanted to play the lone hero, they’d need a better plot twist than hoping Uncle Sam rides in to save the day.

I am a Christian woman, but I still believe the old saying FAFO. Sometimes people need to fight their own battles and quit expecting others to save the day. The world would be much more peaceful if places were accountable for their own actions instead of relying on assumed, blackmailed and bullied alliances.
