High-Fructose Corn Syrup Spikes Fatty Liver

I've had many clients ask me about fatty liver disease.  They express they are not drinkers, yet still have this unexplainable issue and want to know how to heal it naturally.  Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, called NAFLD for short, has become a growing health issue, and the medical industry has done little to explain why.

And the real reason...

With the explosion of high-fructose corn syrup  in soda and most everything we eat (pull out a bottle of ketchup and read the ingredients for example) there has been skyrocketing cases of NAFLD. Back in the 1970s, food companies started swapping sugar for high-fructose corn syrup because it was cheaper and hit that sweet “bliss point” that keeps people wanting more. The problem? Fructose gets processed straight in the liver, and when there is too much of it, it turns into fat that clogs up the liver.

Studies, like ones from Journal of Hepatology in 2017, show that HFCS heavy diets, especially from soda, are tied to skyrocketing NAFLD cases, worsened by obesity and insulin resistance. We all see the agenda. Companies cut costs and boost addiction, while our health takes the hit.

Fruits have fructose too, but their fiber and nutrients keep things in check, unlike the HFCS overload in pop (eat the whole fruit, not just the juice). Ditching sugary drinks for water or whole foods can protect your liver. Your body deserves better than being a pawn in their profit game.

Much Love, Lynn
