Cricket Protein Anyone?

If you’re still trusting the food industry to “feed” you without an agenda, wake up. Companies are quietly loading processed foods with ingredients that have no business being there.  These ingredients are designed to cut costs and extend shelf life all while your health pays the price. They’re sneaking in microplastics (yes, actual plastic particles are now routine contaminants in everything from salt to beer), heavily processed seed oils that inflame your body and increasingly insect protein is sold as “sustainable.” The same corporations and organizations that told you margarine was healthier than butter are now telling you crickets are the future of protein.

In 2023 the FDA officially re-approved the use of crushed cochineal insects (labeled as “carmine” or “carminic acid”) as a natural red food coloring in everything from yogurt to candy. Note, you won’t see “ground bugs” on the front label, it’ll be hidden under “ cricket flour” or “acheta protein.” They know most people would gag to know this so they lie by omission and bank on you never flipping the package over. Read every label like your life depends on it, because sadly, it does. Your trust is their profit margin.
Much Love, Lynn

  1. Shocking how they sneak these things in, especially in processed food where people will have no choice or idea.
